They are both back in style. Bain survey of 1,221 international executives by Bain found:

Of course, KM definitions are always fuzzy and this one includes collaboration and innovation as well.  Still, it wasn’t that long ago that executives needed a cootie shot if someone mentioned knowledge management in a meeting.
